Disclosure! I am a bit of a Led Zeppelin tragic and therefore I own several compilation albums in addition to their studio albums and concerts on DVD. Mothership however is probably the only compilation the casual fan will ever need. All of their major hits and best known tunes are here, except for The Battle of Evermore, Celebration Day, and When the Levee Breaks, which can be found on 'Remasters' compilation and I would have liked to have seen them included here. No complaints though, this is beautifully remastered with Jimmy Page involved, unlike the aforementioned 'Remasters', which while a pretty good compilation, the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. If I had to choose one Led Zeppelin compilation, or indeed if I had to choose only one of their albums to own, it would be Mothership, providing the best of both worlds, the big hits and popular songs and to be found all on a double CD compilation.Read full review

This album brings a lot of nostalgia and was well worth the money. It is tri-fold containing the two discs and a booklet with song lyrics and a brief history of the band. I love everything about this album from the cover design to the selection of songs - good to finally have a physical copy in my hands.
