I bought my LG G3 in mid-August 2015 and it's been a great phone so far! Pros: At first, it felt weird to not have any buttons on the sides of the phone and only on the back but I've gotten used to it and I actually like it better. Having all the buttons on the back of the phone makes the phone more clean and simple looking. I like the tap-to-turn-on function where in addition to pushing the power button, I can also just double-tap the screen to light up the phone. It's pretty cool and more convenient since the power button is on the back of the phone. The 13mp back camera is phenomenal; I'm able to take wonderful pictures in poorly-lit restaurants. The battery-life will last me through the entire day which meets my standards! Typically, I use it for basic features like calling, texting, emailing, and social media. Just get me through the day and it's a keeper! Cons: Like other reviews I've seen, I have experienced that the battery will get heated out of the blue. I'll be doing very basic things and soon, I find my phone getting very hot very quickly. I'm not too sure why that is. I cannot think of many cons for this phone. It has been 4.5 months and I'm still so in love with this phone!Read full review

I purchased two of these phones. After about 50 days i started to notice a screen flickering issue on one of them. I didn't notice that there was a crack in the frame near the proximity/light sensor which caused the sensor to freak out and make the phone nearly unusable. Because it was past warranty the phone became target practice. The other phone overheated very quickly but again the issue didn't start till just after the warranty expired. I manged to fix this issue but now the battery life is crap and there is a burn in spot on the screen, and the sim card reader got too hot and the saudering melted together between two contacts and sims will no longer work in the phone. Avoid this model of LG, very unstable.

I own two LG G3's. LG's flagship phone from 4 years ago. STILL relevant and a fantastic value! The phone takes some of the best pictures I have ever seen, even with a professional camera. 3 gigs ram, fast, 32gigs onbaord memory...list goes on. 4G LTE. Better than many New phones up to $400!!!! Righteous dudes!! =))

Originally selling for $600 off contract in mid-2014, this phone in 2017 is one of the best values around. With its phenomenal display (actually more than you need) along with 32 gigs of memory and (upgraded) to the latest Android Op System Marshmallow, what's not to like? Plus the convenience of tweaking almost every function allows considerable personal customization. I particularly like the double-tap feature to wake and sleep the phone. The main complaint is battery life and the display does use power. However with the ease which one can change the battery, carry a second one or a portable power source. It is worth the effort if one needs it. Phone technology has not move that much in the two and a half years since the phone was introduced to render it obsolete. It is still one of the best options around and now at an incredible price (used of course).Read full review

The LG G3 has the potential of being a great phone but be careful. The battery drains very quickly, you just open it and surf 1 minutes and it's down 3%, after 5 minutes it's down 10%. When talking the sound is not clear. Every time I joing skype meeting my co workers asked to mute my phone because of static noises. Reception was never good, while other phones near me using T-mobile users could surf the net and receive calls mine could not. 2 weeks the camera started going in/out of focus so I could not use it anymore. I never dropped a phone in my life or abused it, this phone was just terrible. I'm a techy guy. I went to a great length to try and solve the above problems. I installed Greenify app and that helped when the phone was not in use but the minute I used it battery started to drain. Do yourself a favor and buy on Amazon Motorola Moto E4 ($100) with 16 GB and 2 GB of RAM or Moto G5 Plus ($180) with 64 GB and 4 GB RAMRead full review
