When i bought this speaker set 5 years ago i thought to myself, i will never purchase another... I still haven't The sound is absolutely top notch for a 2.1, if you wan't slightly better beats like that provided from a 5.1 , go ahead and pay an extra $200 however i'm not an attention to detail person when it comes to sound but i do use these speakers for gaming and i'll tell you the sound these baby's produce when im playing battlefield 3 is absolutely mind blowing, i feel like im in an actual war, when it comes to music the subwoofer almost makes me feel like my table is going to collapse when i turn it on full blast so thats great for all of us who enjoy music. There is however one thing that should be noted for users who own any type of speaker, it's best to not use your mobile phone for calls or any device that uses radio waves around a 1 metre radius of your speakers as the static may damage the internal components of the subwoofer or speakers and your sound might have some static in it. You can detect the presence of this problem when your speakers are turned on and you hear a sort of old radio reciever noise with a repetitions coming out of your speakers.Read full review
For such small, lightweight speakers, they sure do pump out the sound. Plus since they're so small, they take up such little space, i almost forget that they're there.
