I had an earlier Brother MFC A3 printer but after several years of very high use it needed to be replaced. This new one is one step-down in the model range but a generation newer. Print quality is great and very fast in normal printing. The blacks are much blacker, the trays are better built and more sturdy and the sheet feeder for the scanner/copier works a treat. Love how you can program the printer to select the sequence of trays used for different functions which means you might not be caught out when one tray runs out. This is a great printer for anyone that needs A3 printing and have great paper storage. I have it set up with 250 A4 pages, 250 A3 and about 50 A4 photo papers in the multi-function tray. The multi-function tray will hold up to 100 pages of 80 gsm paper (maybe) and can also be set up for A3.Read full review

Keeps jamming for no reason, cancelling print job doesn't work, need to turn off printer an loses whole queue. Unstable Wifi and just stops and ceases No USB connection even though its says at specs. Took days to set it up and still wont scan. Hopeless Will try and return.

Easy set up, wireless printing/scanning has been reliable so far. My only negative for this product would be that while it prints A3, it can't scan A3.

No issues so far. Overall set up was easy and seems to be using ink justifiably. I do miss my laser though. However...the program set up on the computer took a while and trying to sort out the double-sided printing was more complicated than necessayr.

Excellent printing With Black and colours. FOR myself it is a life savour because I save on paper with two sided printing. So far I have had no problems with the Brother printer.
