Surface Pro is a very well built piece of equipment, it has great performance, and I have purchased several of them for clients who use them in the field and in their offices with multiple monitors. I have been very impressed with these devices (Surface Pro/Pro 4, and Surface Book 2). I have not had any problems with any of them in the past 2 years. If you have the money and want a versatile machine, these are an excellent choice.

Got it, set it up, love it. Setup was a breeze. My wife has been using it for a couple weeks now and says it is much faster than the older surface this replaced. I bought the 5th Gen to upgrade from the Gen 3 for my personal needs. I work my company ha switched from the larger Dell laptops to using the Surface Pro 6 and I can not tell any difference in the physical aspect of the Gen 5 & 6 and can barely notice anything in performance. Really like the Surface Pro for the lightness and performance.
