Better than being tethered to MS for the rest of my life!
So far so good. Bought this after MS inactivated the installation of Office Plus (which I had received when I was employed) leaving me without access to a ton of info that I had in Outlook. Then they tried to sell me a subscription to the online Office 365 - which would have left me paying for it EVERY YEAR!! So this was a great option. I'm retired and don't need all of the "bells and whistles" - most of which just drains performance anyway and has little use to me. I was happy to get a standalone Software that I can reinstall if needed.So far so good. Everything works OK, as it should. I have always been partial to the OFFICE products. My only problem is getting things moved to the safe sender's list. Some email addresses work fine, others take a few repeat attempts.

Second try is the charm
I easily installed this on my new laptop. Unfortunately, a short time later, I realized the display on it was defective. I returned it for a new one. Unfortunately, I couldn't install Office on the replacement because the key had already been used on the first laptop. They were nice enough to provide a new, valid key. Now I am good to go!

Many of my clients dislike the newer versions of Microsoft Office, especially the subscription versions. So Office 2010 is an excellent product with all of the features that 99% of the people like and need.
