For the money a good deal. I used the lights to replace broken units from Lowes that are nearly identical. The lights themselves are actually better and more versatile than the Lowes units that were twice the price. Unique method of hooking up the lights to the power wire, odd but it works. Interesting feature is the screw to the walkway fixture built into each light. My lights are on the walkway and not stuck into the grass. Downside is the really cheap transformer which lets the entire product down, in my case I simply kept my old transformer.. It is only an on/off unit with no photosensor. Lots of wire with the kit

From appearance and at a seemingly reasonable price I purchased this set to replace some of the older ones in my yard. The product is of good quality, but the application makes them different to work with than any of the others that I have purchased. The problem that I experienced is in the way the lights attach to the cable. It seems to be very difficult to make a good connection and therefore I have had to reinstall for a second time and now I find that some of the light have lost that connection and our not working, again. This seems to be a manufacturing flaw that perhaps some people may have worked out. I'm struggling with it and find that I am disappointed with my purchase.

Although these lights are easy to setup, the type of connection to the low voltage wire could be a little more secure. Unless you use a tool to push the wire into the connecting spikes, your light might not be lit. A little extra care will solve the problem.

I bought these to provide a source of spares to replace my aging Malibu driveway lights, and they are a good match for these now-out-of-print originals. Appear to be a good, heavy quality plastic and the translucent lamp holders appear to be a durable type (some makers use a plastic that breaks down in sunlight, getting brittle. I think these are better quality)

They aren't as solid as Malibu Lights, and the way the fixtures attach to the wire is not as solid; (I had to spread the pins and in some cases manually create the hole in the wire for them to pierce the insulation.) But for the difference in price from Malibu, they are a good value. NOTE: They work on light-detecting photo-cell, and not a timer. This is not all bad, but if you want them to go off at a certain time, this is not possible.
