I've had this phone for quite a while--almost a year now. I like the performance & battery life, but it doesn't make it easy to add more storage. Even with 32gb of internal space, my phone has been maxed out for months. Verizon stopped carrying this model with blue trim shortly after I noticed it; after buying it here, they did activate it for free & even supplied the sim card at my local store. One option that it has but isn't advertised is the ability of wireless charging. Just make sure that the case/cover you use isn't too thick or everything could overheat. I had to just take my cover off when I wanted to throw it on the charging pad. Just several mm kept mine from being able to charge wirelessly at all. I hope that the Turbo 2 is as good as this first generation model.

These phones are old even if new out of the box. I ordered two of them. One crashed in two weeks time. The other one has a battery that will last about 3 hours whether I use it or not. These were great phones 3 years ago, but everything that people are selling are refurbished but they claim they are new. It's very easy to tell when a Motorola is new or not. These are not new by any stretch of the imagination. Note the last factory reset in the attachment. It was done a couple months before I bought a supposedly new phone.

Had the Droid Turbo and liked it for years. This was a very nice upgrade in features and software. It has an unbreakable screen, and has ability to accept micro SD card up to 64 memory. Three if us have these phones and we are all happy with them.

The Droid Turbo has an extremely long battery life. I do a lot of talking on the phone for business and don't use too many other features other than GPS occasionally. I can sometimes go a week without needing to charge the phone. The only issue so far is that the sound volume during calls is not as loud as my old phone. Sometimes the incoming calls are too quiet to hear if I'm speaking with someone from a call center who is being routed through a phone tree or if they are using some kind of internet based phone service.

It is a slick device, very good battery life. You can add up to 256Gb externally. Google helps a lot for voice commands. Great sensors, specially if you use the stay on feature. The screen size is more than I could ask for, and those speakers are JUST IN PLACE if you like playing games and watching TV shows or movies. You can place your thumb in between to balance the device, which means you usually need both hands to surf through it. It's a bit slippery so you may need a case for it. It's not a heavy device, even though it's metal on the edges, the heaviness doesn't make your finger or hand hurt
