Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Video In-Dash Units w/o GPS
Being a user of a Navcam Pro for over three years, I was looking forward to the Navcam Peo X - it looked good in the blurb. It had some nice features, but it didn't live up to the hype. I was missing things like speed limit signs recognition. However, I thought I'd give it a go. It was several days later that I realised that the speed indication didn't seem right. On my first freeway run, the indicated speed froze, and wouldn't budge until the unit was powered down. It appeared to be working fine, until my next freeway trip - it did the same again! To top it off, I couldn't get the software to work, which turned out to be an incompatibility with AVG Free; I guess lots of people use that software. The unit was returned to the seller, and I'm sticking with the good old Navcam Pro.

This dash camera fails dismally in performing the listed functions on the Laser company web site. the staff at KG electrical have been fantastic in trying to sort out the problems I experienced . The camera has been sent to the Laser company 3 times ( once by KG electrical & twice by me ) This camera is overpriced for what it delivers . I have had $40 dash cameras that perform better than the NAVC-818 SHD . DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT !

IT NEEDED A VERY FAST CARD TO MATCH ITS PERFORMANCE, BUT EXTREMELY GOOD. COMES WITH A VERY LONG USB CABLE SO GOOD FOR REAR WINDOW TOO. ADVICE FOR ALL CRASH CAMS: I STICK A SMALL SQUARE OF KITCHEN FOIL USING DOUBLE SIDED TAPE ON OUTSIDE OF SCREEN TO PROTECT FROM SUN.
