The DCS380 is well constructed and the 4-way blade positioning ability is a plus when sawing in close quarters. With a 6 TPI (teeth per inch) blade this saw is used around the property trimming wooden garden plants when needed, the variable speed trigger making this work easier. The only drawback I've seen so far is that the saw is somewhat heavy in the front end, but if this is necessary to build a stout product, so be it. The 4AH batteries have plenty of lasting time and being able to use them on my other DeWalt 20v cordless tools is a bonus.

I have not used this battery yet so I don’t know how long the charge will last. It does not fit the DeWalt charger very well. I had to jiggle it to make it connect to the charger contacts. It also does not fit my DeWalt drill/driver very well. Very hard to remove it once it is installed on the drill/driver. Don’t know yet if is of good quality.

AFTER RECEIVING THIS BATTER CHARGER----I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE HOW IT WOULD WORK ON MY FOUR BATTERIES THAT I BOUGHT A WEEK BEFORE-- 1ST TIME I PUT THE BATTERY INTO THE CHARGER THE RED LIGHT TURNED ON BUT IT WASN'T BLINKING THOUGHT THIS WAS STRANGE --REMOVED THE BATTERY AND REINSERTED IT INTO THE CHARGER BUT THIS TIME I HELD DOWN THE RED RELEASE WHILE PUTTING IT IN---SUCCESS--- TAKE YOUR TIME IN PUTTING THE BATTERIES INTO THE CHARGER THE FIT IS A LITTLE SLOPPY !!!
