Great speaker at this price point
Excellent product, sound quality is a very high standard for the size and cost of it. The Flip 4 cylindrical shape allows it to be stood up vertically or laid down horizontally. It comes with a removable lanyard that allows you to hang the speaker from a shower head, a branch outside or a loop on your backpack. The fabric that wraps around the speaker is completely waterproof. It’s IPX7 waterproof to be exact, which along with being able to be submerged for 30 minutes in up to a meter of water, also means that’s sealed against dust, dirt, and sand. So taking this to the beach was no problem. The Flip 4 is a very good performer in terms of sound quality. It also has such extras as a built-in microphone, so it works as a speakerphone with noise- and echo-canceling. JBL claims a battery life of about 12 hours but is a lot shorter on max volume.
