Its got lots of horsepower, the 8 blades work so much better than the old 4 blade models, got a lot more power to boot, it is a lot quieter and does a lot better job than the old which caught fire. The downside is that the switches are upside down to the old models, not hard to get used to it though????

Very poor quality control! Parts did not even align properly. When I turned it on it churned up black plastic surrounding the metal turning cog because the black plastic part wasn’t even put on straight! This burnt out the motor. I really doubt this is an Australian product as advertised.

Bought this when my Vitamix died three years into its life. Have been using Octablend every day since and am very pleased with its performance. Time will tell it's endurance but so far so good

It’s good, certainly as described but when it’s used on high speed for more than 20-30 seconds smells from the motor emerge, so not commercial at all as I don’t think it would hold up to continuous use at the likes of a smoothie bar.

As a commercial grade blender slightly bigger than other home blenders but worth the extra power. Not as heavy as I thought it would be so fairly easy to get out of the cupboard and super easy to clean. Blends hot food easily.
