I have two of these cards and both work perfectly. Since these cards have cooling fans, the only thing to watch for is that you purchase a brand new one and not a second hand one where the fan soon starts getting noisy. The cards do get hotter when using high resolutions but provided there is good ventilation, this is not a problem.

Very happy with the device on a XP old computer, you cant still get several graphic drivers from NVidia network site. Which means it is a stable type graphics card. It will help (1000) of people to save older type motherboard being used as land fill.

Works well enough. They should be able to make this with a passive heatsink and lose the fan as it is a point of failure. Suits amything with a shot (unusable) AGP slot. More reliable than the 8GB ATI Rage which is your other option. Most people are buying these just for BIOS or KVM over IP, or even to just get the machine to boot. A shame these are not a standad LSI offering on retail shelves.

Cooler is not silent and there is 1 or 2 between heatsink and memory chips, so it really dont cool them, some thermal pads would help. Same as more silent fan or bigger heatsink.
