Having good experiences with the Asus RT-AC88u and the RT-AC5300 the quality was expectable. This was purchased to do the RT-AC5300 job but only really because it would go in a position where 8 data cable outlets would be useful (despite the Asus AI-Mesh working well) My only reservation related to the software interface which was said to be tedious compared with the similar interface known on the other two. When confronted by it none of the concerns proposed by other reviewers seemed present. It worked seamlessly and was up and operating quickly. Compared with the RT version of this tri-band arachnid I do like the better aerial connection. Droopless just works for me. This machine appears to do everything it says it does and that is a prodigious amount. Seems fairly expensive though.

Love this router. Maybe a little expensive and over the top for most. But no black spots for reception. No issues at all. Easy install. Overall very impressed with this solid quality product. I recommend this product without hesitation. I previously had ASUS 87 Limited Edition Red. This one beats it for WiFi speed and configuration etc. Love my new ASUS GT-AC5300!!!
