It is great thru one amp. The chorus is a wet signal for one amp, and dry for the other amp in stereo. The low notes can be affected by the chorus, The chorus can be adjusted so that the low notes sound great with a pitch and delay effect. I turn the rate low 7 or 8 O'Clock and the depth all the way up. It thickens the note. twice the sound.

I bought this used, but it is strongly built and works well. It's a relatively subtle effect, rather than a way-out in-your-face pedal, but it adds body and a bit of complexity to your tone. It's tweakable via controls for rate, depth, low filter, and level (volume), so it's not just a Johnny One-Note either. Not anything I'd characterize as revelatory, but it definitely adds to your sound. Worth consideration by anyone playing electric bass -- I'd recommend it.
Excellent chorus pedal for bass. in the 80's I used the original CE-2, which was great at the time. This pedal is a bit less lush, providing a more subtle effect that warms the bass tone rather than making it sound almost a bit flanger-ish as the CE-2 tends to do.

I've had it for a little while and it's a great effect pedal. I even compared it to Dan Electro's Cool Cat, and even though it doesn't have the same warmth, it really holds up its own. I love it.
