Underwhelmed

I made the incorrect assumption that a Meat thermometer doesn't need to be expensive. This thermometer looks good and seems to work ok, until you want to use it for it's intended purpose that is. I've now used it on steaks, pork loin, roast lamb and chicken and every time it has read incorrectly leading to over cooking. Problem is, you can't just say "Oh, I'll take 10 degrees off" because sometimes it's out but 10 degrees celsius, sometimes 20. Lesson learnt.

Nice one!

It arrived pretty quickly, it works, it does what it says on the box. But as a vego, I wish they wouldn't call it a 'meat thermometer, or whatever. I use it to check on how cold the fridge is.

Sturdy,long probe, large numeric screen

Arrived promptly. Much better than my old meat thermometer as it has a longer temperature probe and a larger readout.
