In the box is a brace for the monitor (the monitor needs to be repositioned because the brace that comes with the workfit would leave the monitor awkwardly positioned relative to the laptop) and a brace and tray for the laptop. Installation is quick. I reckon marginal cost of production, packaging and shipping is around $50, so, overpriced, but the result is great and there aren't that many options out there. Also the brace is a 100x100 Vesa brace, so if your monitor (like mine) is a 200x100 Vesa brace, you're going to need a Vesa universal adapter (can't include links here sorry so just google Vesa universal adapter) And make sure you've got plenty of screws and bolts that fit the monitor and the adapter brace to avoid having to do multiple trips to the hardware shop.
