Update to my previous review. After posting my last review, they contacted me. Sent me a replacement, which does work. Because the first one was defective, and took a bit to hear back after I first tried to contact them, can't in all honesty give full stars, but do give credit where it's due, and did raise my original rating.

It is supposed to be an OEM product, but my Samsung phone does not "like" it. The housing for the connector at the charging end is weak. It comes unsnapped often, which makes the connection weak and the phone senses that it is not an OEM Samsung charger. It charges very slowly compared to other chargers, despite it being OEM. I bought 3 sets. All of them work this way.

It is avertised as OEM which to me means its the exact orginal that comes with your newly purchased phone. What I received is constructed differently than what I received when I bought my S4. This charger weighs less and also get warm when plugged in. My original stays cool. I have put the cable to use but I fear using an inferior charger with my phone.

My Galaxy S4 still sometimes gives me the message: 'for faster charging use the adapter & cord that came with your phone'. I've been trying to milk more life from my S4, hence my purchase of the adapter & cord via ebay, but I am closer to biting the bullet & replacing it.

A sub-optimal fake which is only capable of charging your phone at a very low speed and the charger itself gets so hot I'm concerned it might burn the house down. I wonder if I'd be able to hold eBay responsible if it does burn my house down since being sold as original.
