This is a great camera. The mirror less format and the 4/3 sensor enable a huge amount of capacity to be packed into a very light weight and easy to handle body. Also the 4/3 format enables lens sizes to be drastically reduced, further reducing weight. This started out as an my easy to carry hiking/walking camera, but has taken over as my primary camera. PROS. Very good image quality. Light weight. Able to use lens from other 4/3 cameras like Sony as well as legacy Olympus lenses. View finder. 5 axis image stabilization. CONS. Lack of detail in the user manuals, I bought David Busch's Olympus E-5 guide through eBay (not the same camera but the controls are nearly identical ) and it was well worth it.

I took a long time to research products before I bought one the best mirrorless camera's in the world today. My conclusions is obviously two brands the flagship Ep3 and the new (with little difference)Ep5..Along with the Sony Nex series 5-6-7. Both are very good....but in my opinion the Olympus brand has better prime lenses(but very expensive) than Sony. Also the Olympus EP3 is much more retro stylish than the Nex. In short I am very happy with my purchase and statistically speaking both Olympus Ep3 and Sony Nex owners have the highest satisfaction rate in the world...so I guess I am not alone! This is a great camera!
I bought this camera as a gift. The receivers of the camera had chosen this from reviews read. They love the camera.
