Great phone for the price
I bought this phone second hand at a bargain price as a fill-in until I can afford a new high-end phone next year. It is perfect for me in every respect except it doesn't have a killer camera, which I already knew. Having moved from the old Nokia Symbian phones I find Android very similar.

Not holding a charge any better than 6 year old battery
As a new Samsung brand battery I expected it to hold its charge longer than my original 6 year old battery. This is why I bought it. Compaired to the original battery, it is not compleately flat, but has a slight bulge along one side, I dont know what this means, but i would expect it to be completly flat on both sides, maybe the bulge is a sign the battery is compromised. I will now be seeking a replacement or refund. My phone is not connected to the internet unless I activate it, also no GPS turned on, and no other battery draining apps are on, I only use the phone for calls & sms, and very rarely connect to the internet. Not it's fault. Fair product.
This battery could be the best it could be as there is no improvement on the performance of what I was replacing. The under-performance could be in the product it was powering which historically drains power fast and heats up.
