In my opinion this is the best protection available. Had this on 2 different model galaxy phones my s4 active looks brand new after 5 years of hitting the ground countlesstimes and so shall my 7. Samsung pay works flawlessly as well as qi charge through the case in my experience, contrary to some posts I've read on the topic. Cant go wrong with the defender. If your interested in protection this is the top tier, if you want to show of your phone this isn't for you.

The built in screen protector gives far less protection than the 4 OtterBox products I have owned. If you have a screen protector on your S7 screen and then an Otterbox, it is going to appear there is moisture between the 2. I have tried the polymer, tempered glass and jut the cheap plastic screen protectors, no luck, and yes I tried the OtterBox branded screen protectors. I do not trust just the OtterBox built in screen protector to protect from scratches on my S7 screen. The case itself works very well for phone protection. Don't know if a poor design or the built in screen protector is made differently from past models.

This isn't a pretty case but I believe it's the most protection u can get for a phone. Like two durable cases in one. Has very good grip all over with the outer rubber cover. I had a body glove case for s4. It was very similar. They don't make one for an s7 tho. This one is as good as u can get as far as I'm concerned. And a great price too! All the buttons work as expected and the covers for the charging port and headphone jack lift up and easily pop back in place.

Best case I have found. This is my 2nd case, 1st case lasted about 3 years of constant abuse. The screen protector can scratch and after enough scratches you wont be able to see the screen under the glare of the sun even at 100% brightness, so be mindful if your phone hangs out in your pocket with keys, coins or other potential scratch objects. Otherwise, excellent product, my 4 year old phone still looks brand new.

The case is great except two problems. The Belt clip isn't designed well. The second time I wore the belt clip it hooked on a edge of a booth while I was being seated and broke! The only other problem is the screen cover fits loose on edges and allows debris like dust to work under cover. You will need to remove clear vover every so often to clean the screen. The case does a great job to protect the phone! I would purchase again.
