    Fit for purpose

    The product functions very well However the advertisement is poorly structure and misleading under consumer law. You do not receive you entitled amount because of the ambiguous structure of the order processing. The advertisement is paly on words which is not clearly defined. Good luck to feature buyers!

    Good for some uses

    Good quality retrofit LED fitting, but the design leaves gaps between the inside of your house and the roof cavity, meaning that dirt, dust, and anything else in the roof space can potentially fall through into your home. If you have these lights positioned over food preparation areas, could be a health concern.

    Excellent replacement for halogen downlights for old transformers

    These Philips 'Retrofit' LED lights worked really well for my downlights. Originally I had purchased Mirabella and Clicks LED brands from Bunnings and they all blew up within 5-10min due to incompatible and older transformers in my downlights. My electrician recommended to try Philips brand. Found your product with simple description and explanation that I needed to use these Retrofit LED bulbs and it works fine with no blown bulbs.     Great stuff

    These are a direct 'plug and play' (but check your transformers will work with them first, plenty of websites list the transformers they will work with), brighter and whiter than I expected. I had 11x 50w globes before in our large lounge, so now when I only run 4 of the 7w (which is bright enough) that's about 1/2 the power use of just 1 of my old globes. I have even fitted another 4 in the kitchen and we love the extra white light in there. The downside..... Sorry cant think of anything.

    Easy conversion from halogen to LED

    I have 28 of these throughout my living area and while expensive to convert there has been a significant reduction in power costs. Gives out a warm white light and provides good coverage I have just had to replace one and query whether it lasted as long as the manufacturer suggests. On the negative side there is an incessant whirring sound when turned on.
