good return to an older format.

There is a reason this remained on the billboard hot 100 chart for YEARS and there's a reason polls list it as the #1 favourite album of the 20th Century. It is simply superb - totally immersive listening, and sounds better on vinyl than any other medium (except the real band live). Exploring themes of mental illness and alienation from the mainstream music scene, it is a carefully crafted musical exposition of all the of the band's various talents - which are immense. It has to be listened as an album, with the lights out and cranked up LOUD... Been listening to this for 40 years and never get sick of it. One of the best
Arguably ohe of the best rock albums of all time. Transcends time, still relevant and a totally immersive experience. Didnt get to see pink floyd as a band but have seen Roger waters do most of the album on 2 tours which is a tour de'force in itself. Love this album.
