Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Garden Compost Bins
The compost bin I purchased was super easy to assemble with simple snap together parts and was assembled from individual parts to complete Item in less than 5 minutes. The only issue was in putting the lid in place, this required the insertion of two little lugs into their corresponding holes in the top of the Bin. Unfortunately the lugs being plastic and the whole in which the lid sits quite tight, well needles to say i ended up with a broken lug on the first day. This however doesn't really compromise the performance of the compost bin in any way, so was not really a big deal. The light weight construction of the bin, in conjunction with the design, means you can simply place the bin anywhere you wish for a compost heap and then lift the entire thing up and away to start a new compost heap else where as you required. Conversely you could just keep adding to your existing pile and have a large amount of fresh compost for the garden. I haven't had the compost bin long enough to have made my first compost heap, so this review is only on the bin as a unit and not on how effective this bin is as a composting machine. In conclusion I think the bin is quite good value, is really well designed for simple and quick construction and appears to be sturdy enough to handle the job for which it was intended. It is quite good value for money i believe and if it provides both the quality as well as the quantity of compost i am expecting, then the system will have paid for itself in a fairly short span of time. I do recommend this system to anyone with a small to medium sized back yard who is need of fresh compost and who enjoys the ability to turn both garden and kitchen waste into beautiful healthy compost. I bought it because I wanted another compost bin that's bigger. This one is okay. But the one I've already got from another website is cheaper and sturdier. This one is a bit bigger. Also, the hinge on the door of this one is hard to put together and you have to put a brick on top to stop it flipping open. It bloody closes onto me as I am trying to put things into it.

Easy to assemble and sturdy. Mine are three years old and showing no signs of degradation. They hold an awful lot of household scraps and small garden waste. The design suggests you can remove compost from the door on the base. This might be possible if the bin is filled in a short period with reasonably loose material that breaks down quickly. I tend to add mainly small amounts of dense material every day, and using the bottom door isn't practicable. For me that's not a problem - I wait until it's three quarters full and then switch to the second bin while the first one breaks down enough to use in the garden. My one criticism is that the lid blows open in a strong wind, meaning you need to put a brick or similar on top. Some kind of catch to hold the lid shut would be a useful design change.Read full review

This is a good product and value for money. The door at the base of the bin makes it easy to remove composted matter and the hinged lid makes it easy to deposit new material. Overall it is a much better product than the old round type.

Fairly easy to construct. It will hold alot of kitchen waste etc. Suggest it is pegged down so it does not fall over in a high wind. (mainly when fairly empty.
