CONS - Doesn't completely disassemble for cleaning. Outer burr and internal support non-removable. Makes it hard to clean without water getting trapped between the two materials. - Inconsistent coarse grind (filter/french press) - Grind container is 2 parts. Metal housing with non-removable plastic cup on the inside. Makes it hard to clean without water getting trapped between the two materials. NOTES As mentioned it works better for making finer coffee grinds. The reason appears to be down to the outer burr being loose and not anchored to the main body. As a result it kind of hula-hoops around the inner burr if set to a coarse grind. Tightening the inner burr (fine grind) prevents the outer burr from moving around. Also the grind container and outer burr being non-removable means that water can get trapped during cleaning leading to a longer wait time for drying. CONCLUSION Hard to be disappointed given the price point and CONS can be managed with some simple workarounds. After cleaning grinder for first time make sure it is used for grinding coffee regularly (roughly once a week). This allows new coffee to flush out the old coffee so it doesn't go stale inside grinder and you won't need to clean it as often. Also use it for finer grinds (espresso/percolator) as coarse grinds are inconsistent due to loose outer burr.Read full review

Its great for grinding coffee beans into powder for the Aeropress I use to make coffee with. Its also great for peculator coffee . Disadvantages are it takes a while to grind the coffee beans but I treat it like my morning exercise. Another disadvantage is you may need to watch youtube to see how to put it back together it comes with a small spring and tiny washers and looks complicated. Recommended for any coffee maker.
