Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Save on Scanners
I bought this for digitalizer game @ 37 years of slides. Once I figured out the settings (about 10 slides), it has been working like a charm. like a charm. I haven't used the 22mb (extrapolation) setting, but have gotten good results with the digiftal 14mb setting. It won't save directly to my computer (running Windows 10, but takes a standard SD card (mine is 32gb, but the instructions don't include maximum size) Although the digitizer has rudimentary RGB controls, I use Photoshop to do most of my corrections. Many of my slides scan fairly dark, and I wouldn't be happy with them without some corrections. I don't know how well these will print, but that isn't my intent. PROS: Once I familiarized myself with the controls, it only takes a few seconds to digitalize a slide. CONS: (and this can be a big one, if you expect to scan numerous slides before checking them) The glass platen gets dirty quickly. I've attached a scan from a 15 year old slide, and you can see what happens if you don't clean the platen often. The dirty scan came on about the 15th scan without cleaning. The clean scan followed the use of the (included) "clean brush". Some people have commented that it will crop portrait shots. Well, yes; but all you have to do is turn the slide sideways to scan, then rotate it once it's been sav d to your computer. OVERALL, I am very happy with this inexpensive slide digitalizer.Read full review

Garbage for the money. Plus it cost me more since I had to convert from USD. Save your money or spend $500. Otherwise you are just wasting your money. This is so cheap my PC wouldn't even recognize it's memory card so I had to use my SLR. Resolution is just awful.

I answered yes to the set up, resolution, and color questions, but one absolutely has to have a photo editing program where they can adjust various aspects of scanned items. As others mentioned, the instructions are about useless, there are You Tube tutorials that help, once you get what button to push and when down, it's a decent enough scanner, easy, and fast!

This is a great product to copy your old slides to digital format. The directions leave a little bit out on how to use the scanner, but once I figured how to use it, it works fine. I copied around 500 slides in just a few hours. This is a quality unit.
