After being gifted multiple Ryobi tools for Christmas, I began to search for a charging station that was portable and could handle multiple batteries. After doing some research, this unit was highly recommended and was priced right. It works fast, keeps my batteries charged, and is portable. Good piece of equipment.

This charger only charges one battery at a time , not six at once. It is slow doing that. After all batteries are charged (about 18 hrs) it enters maintenance mode. After about 48 hours it begins discharging the batteries one at a time. I presume that it would recharge them, but i pulled them off and put them on their original chargers. Lithium batteries have a finite amount or charge discharge cycles in their service lives and they are expensive. I don' want their lives used up on a charger. This seems like a very poor design.

I have a Ryobi P125 I like the battery status indicators better the the one on this newer model. Pros: This model is lighter and is more compact. And the USB CHARGING PORT is a nice addition. Con: Power Cord is lightweight? Buy so was the one on the P125 IMO

This is what you need if you have several Ryobi 18+ tools. It not only charges up to six batteries, but can be used to carry the batteries to where you are working. It also keeps your batteries in tip top condition while not in use. Glad I have mine.

Works as described. I'm good with the one-at-time recharging method. Works well with the true Ryobi battery as well as with the good knock-off batteries.
