They (the people who do annual inspections of my CPAP machine) tell me that tubes usually last 2 or 3 years depending on how well they are cared for, and they were surprised mine had no holes after 4 years. Not long after the holes showed up, but I was able to patch things up with duct tape long enough to get this item through eBay. It was the exact replacement part and just what was needed. It gives every appearance of being of the same quality as the original and has performed flawlessly since, so I hope to get another 4 years from it. I paid about half what the CPAP outlet store wanted, so I suppose it was good value even if it was very pricey for a few pieces of plastic. Anyway, I am happy with it.

For the price it is good. I cannot be certain that this is a ResMed product, but if it is, then it's a GREAT value. It shipped out quick and is working well. It had a chemical or plastic smell to it, that I hadn't smelled in previous Tube Assembly that I purchased. The smell went away after a couple of days of use. I would purchase again.

I suppose it is doing what it is intended for. All I can say other than it seems to be a little flimsy, is that I haven't broken it yet, like I did several others in the past. It would be a great product if it were made a bit more hearty. Wouldn't hurt to lower the price some either.

Well, when you have to use a cap, the short hose assembly is a pricier piece that occasionally needs replacement. This was the best deal I found.
