Nice package. excellent still and video quality. Farely easy to use for a near novice. But, Audio is almost nonexistant, wether in video or voice memo modes. Does not seem to be any MIC sensitivity adjustments. And the video codex is not supported by any of my USB player devices. {only thing that would play the video clips(AVI.) is the PC}. And like most digital cameras, it requires PREMIUM batteries. (2000+mAh or better) Ultimately it suits my needs and budget well.
My 13-yr-old wanted a camera for Christmas. Although I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a digital camera, I didn't want to get an inferior product either, so I turned to Ebay. I purchased this Samsung--which I've seen from $95 to $140--for $85. When I received it I immediately opened it to make sure it worked properly and everything does. The only problem I've found is that it has VERY little memory, but hey, that's what memory cards are for! So glad I won the bid.
This is a great camera (and stylish too!) With so many setting you can really take great pictures in almost any lighting conditions. However, had I not taken a photography class in college where I learned the relationship of f-stops and shutter speeds I'm not sure I'd be able to use this camera. When you turn the wheel for different settings, the explanation of the setting and what it is used for flashes on the screen for less than one second. No exaggeration. There aren't nearly as many pre-set functions as were on my Kodak Easy Share (now those are ideal for amateur photogs!) and the on board tutorial is not very easy to understand. The video feature works really well and produces good quality videos. I'll keep it until I lose or break it, but I might get on that is a little more user friendly next time.Read full review
I purchased the little Samsung BL103 because my camera at home had died and I needed something for Christmas pictures . I really like it's pretty color red. Every time I look at it , it makes me want to smile. Also I like it's small size and it is so lightweight it is almost like carrying the wind around. Plus, because it is light weight - it does not hurt my shoulders to carry and use. Also , the pictures are really nice and clear. The only thing that I dislike is that the camera software and my computer do not want to play right together , but I firmly believe it is my old computer being hard to get along with.It just does not want to have to do any more work than it has to. Yes, I would purchase it again This is just a regular granny who wanted something nice to be easy to operate and still capture those moments in our family.Read full review
I've had this camera now for almost a year now and I have nothing but good things to say about it. The resolution is crystal clear and the movies are top quality. I have never taken a bad picture yet. Well let me rephrase that! I have taken bad pictures but even the bad ones look good. I have taken movies with it and the sound is clear and the picture quality is clear. This camera is fool proof and mistake proof that even novice photographers can handle. There are also exposure settings, brightness etc... that even a advanced photographer will enjoy. The one and only issue I have but that may just be me, is that I prefer to use it in Program mode that in Auto mode. The pictures for me have more clarity than in Auto mode, but even in Auto mode they pictures look great. The camera has red eye reduction, face recognition, timer, auto flash and a of other features that the more expensive cameras have and even more. The camera is definitely a diamond in the ruff and one that should not be over looked when considering making a purchase.Read full review
