Great watch that looks more expensive than it is.
Great watch that keeps time and never needs a battery change. The movement is non-winding, so you have to wear it or shake it for a bit to get it going. The second hand is non-hacking, but unless you need to synchronize with another watch, it’s not an issue. Solid construction that will last for decades. The finish is on par with watches far beyond this price range. The black rubber strap is a little uncomfortable when it’s hot and humid, but it can be easily and inexpensively changed. This is no desk diver, you can taker this on your next SCUBA or snorkeling trip with no worries. Arrived well packaged and ahead of schedule.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

the watch does not hold time well. the time reserve is very limited. the watch does not run as advertised. I will need to have a technician inspect the watch particularly the oscillator. Authentic Seiko
Great Value! I bought mine for $180. Although not made in Japan, this SKX009K is a genuine Seiko. It's not as collectible as a SKX made in Japan, but it's made with the same high quality craftsmanship. The watch came tagged in a Seiko box (instruction manual and one year warranty included). I personally like that it has less markings on the face (the only noticeable difference). I did replace the resin band for leather and canvas band to give it a more vintage look. I think a NATO strap would look great as well. I chose the 009 because I like the "Pepsi" look. It's noticeable, but not too flashy. To each his own.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best value for your money. The automatic movement keep relatively great time, no battery needed. This is, the best value for a watch on the planet. I am so impressed with it that I'm going to likely give it to my son.
And buy myself another. It's so, so good. I bought it as a temporary watch because I broke my Marathon Chronograph for the second time and had to send it in. All things being equal, this is actually a better watch in my opinion. The Marathon has a great movement and rad tritium markers but this is actually the better watch. No joke. Perfect Seiko for me
I had been eyeing this watch for a while and decided to buy finally. It is a nice watch that ticks all the boxes for me. Comfortable, stylish, sporty and large but not to large sits perfectly on my large wrist. The original diver rubber strap is gone in favor of versatile multiple versatile nato zulu and perlon straps.

SKX Modded (enhanced)
Purchasing from RugbyGuy was a great experience. The description of the product was spot on and I am very happy with the SKX that I purchased. The shipping/delivery was quick and the packaging was secure. I will say that there is a small, barely visible gap between the chapter ring and the dial face at the top of the dial. not so on the bottom. I will need to look more into this. I am currently regulating the time to see how accurate it is...I've had the watch for two hours and so far it is dead on. The dial, chapter ring and bezel all line up perfectly. The sourced components are seemingly top notch. Again, I have had this for only two hours. I still need to have the case back opened up to evaluate and authenticate the movement. I am also currently measuring the accuracy. Thank you, RugbyGuy! PS...I will update my review should my extreme satisfaction change.
