Bought our first set of Sennheiser Noise Cancelling headphones 15+ years ago and they still operate well. This set were bought for my Granddaughter who travels with her parents on overseas trips. I am sure at the age of 3 she cannot yet tell us about the quality of reproduction but from my past experience with this make they will preform as well as can be expected. They sit comfortably on the head and the noise cancellation is excellent. The only problem is the lead often gets in the way. Better to get a set of cordless Sennheiser MM450 headphones like those bought a few years ago - but at a price almost double the corded type. After a good few years (15+) the faux leather ear muffs can disintegrate but new genuine ones are easily obtainable.

They do what it says on the tin. But the weak point is their use of thin wire to and from the on/off controller box. As it frays it introduces interference into the headset so one has to be very careful how one folds them up eg. to slip into a pocket.

Excellent noise cancelling headphones, with obvious higher effectiveness compared to other brands. Add in the compact folding abilities and lightweight feel then these headphones are the perfect and almost necessary travelling companion.

I had the previous model...this is so much better...more robust, higher-quality construction, lighter, more stylish design... Just what Sennheiser do so well...
