The only reason for not giving it five stars is that any bumps in the road causes it to jostle and drop the phone. Vent designs vary on various vehicles. So that maybe another reason why it falls easily. I have rounded vents and I have to position it a certain way in order for me to use it.

If you do not use a wireless charging pad and do not do much driving on bumpy roads, this is a super cheap, lightweight, straightforward solution to mounting your phone in your car and having the benefit of air running across it to keep it cool. However, if you use a wireless charging pad and do not want to remove your case everytime you want to charge, this product will kill your wireless charging capabilities. This is because a supplied magnet has to be stuck to either the back of your phone or the inside/back of your case, to be used with the mount. This blocks the ability for wireless charging to occur. Also, I found that the magnet was not strong enough to hold the phone over most potholes or bumpy stretches of roads. Also, while not recommended, but sometimes necessary when using GPS, etc, if you try to type or use the phone in any manner, while it is attached to the mount, the surface area is so small that your finger pressure will knock it off the mount. All in all, if it meets your use case its a great, inexpensive product, I just want to call out the issues I had with it that led me to buy the type that grip the phone without a magnet.Read full review

If you have a big phone with a big case, or a round back like the LG G4 then stay away from this brand. The swiveling part sucks and the phone keeps falling, making it dangerous while driving to retrive. Buy the regular one without the swiveling head. Good luck

This item fits the vent well and the magnets seem to be strong enough to hold. The problem is when using the heater, the "glue" will soften and loose grip. I would recommend using an epoxy to mount the included magnet to your case, not sure I would mount it directly onto the phone.

It's function okay but the sometimes my phone seems a little too heavy for the mount to hold. But it definitely serves its purpose and is a good investment.
