Great laptop / tablet but could be a lot better
Got it for a great price. In fact, I don't think it's worth the full price. Battery life is still average. Only 8GB RAM. It does not sit securely on your lap unless your legs are perfectly level and still - material is so smooth that it does not have any 'traction'. The pop-up keyboard is too large. I'm used to the TrackPoint in the Lenovo X240 and not used to the TouchPad but it's OK. As for performance, it's as good as it gets. The pen works very well to draw or sketch stuff. Great product
Great product. Loving the ability to move from pc to tablet easily. handwriting to text is a lot easier than i thought and lots of other nice features that improve useability. the i7 is noticeably quicker than i5. facial recognition to signin 'just happens'. A little heavier than some of the other lightweight options on the market if using in tablet mode with the keyboard attached. Battery life is not as long as expected if running in full performance mode. Not an issue if you are mostly working plugged in. Great graphics and audio. mini-display port is a bit limiting though HDMI adapter works well, though not with all HDMI devices e.g. my Kogan smart tv where signal outputs are incompatible. I love it with it few quirkz
Its an amazing thing. Fairly powerful not as much as my PC i7 but not too bad. Everything else is great except when you open the screen to a bit more angle it topples thats just bad. But comes with many other amazing things. Everything else is great. Heavy duty performance with a sleek deisng
I am mostly impressed with the Surface Book with Performance Base. Has a premium design feel to it. The resolution is absolutely stunning and performance feels snappy and sharp. The laptop is a little on the heavier side (compared to ultra books), but to be expected given the specs it is carrying. The only real issue I have with the device is the screen wobble that comes from the hinge. Screen wobbles a little when moving the laptop is on your laptop; again to be expected given the hinge design which allows clipboard and tablet use. Great product but battery only last for 6 hrs. Software that came with it was so old that it would not power on .
