good quality smart plug
Setup requires a little bit of wifi knowledge but not too difficult. The Kasa software is pretty good, except i cant seem to get the "Timer" feature to work as expected, all other features seem to work great. I would like to have an energy monitor feature, but it does have an hourly use counter that can be manually converted to an energy monitor if you know the power consumption of the device plugged in. Setup is too complicated because it wasn't native integration with Google Assistant, which needs to trigger a web service to switch on/off. The process to turn the switch on/off is too slow and it's only possible by voice (not possible via Google Home App). So, very badly designed!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works a treat with Google Home
I got this to work with Google Assistant voice commands on Google Home. It was easy to set up using the Kasa app. It works perfectly in response to voice commands when appliances and lamps are plugged in to it. It seems sturdy and of high quality. It is larger than I expected - it is a very tight squeeze to put a normal plug into the socket next to the smart plug (if you do this, the smart plug is a couple of mm away from being fully plugged in, but it still receives power). Tech savvy home

quite expensive
quite expensive and are not quite compatible with Google home or this may be a Google home problem, every time you add a new device(s), you need to link and unlink the whole lot of Kasa device.
