Product does not work with my iMac as it was advertised to do. When connected, it randomly pops up in the midi devices for a very short period but keeps dropping out. The manual that comes with it does not help and no available online help. Comes with mini-CD with Audacity on it but the mini-CD can't be used with Mac CD drives. You can download Audacity separately.

When I initially start to record it is great but by about the third track in, there develops a very fast beat which gets louder the longer I continue to record tapes. It is not specific to any particular tape. If I look at the recorded track in Audacity I can see that the beat is there right from the start - it just is sufficiently soft enough that I could put up with it if it didn't get louder but by about the fourth track it is very audible over the song itself. I would be very pleased if someone could tell me if I am doing something wrong or if it is an intrinsic problem with the player/converter.

Very poor transport mechanism, and the conversion algorithm leaves the digitized music about a tone flat. I needed a second set of softwre to adjust the pitch back up, but not the tempo. Really noisy flutter added.

Can recommend this cassette converter. It does work. It is amazing to think that I was listening to an album in the car from my iPhone and the album was originally a cassette.
