You can count on Silva, and his main character Gabriel Allon, for yet another cracking good tale of political intrigue. I always enjoy the story locations and descriptions - and my 'armchair travel' - as Gabriel's escapades take him across Europe. All Silva's characters are believable, and he always manages to paint an enticing picture of their deeds, motivations and hidden agenda.
