I've always been a big of the Sopranos and when I found a complete set with all the seasons I just had to have it! I love the packaging and find it very easy to select the season and disc I want to watch.

I bought this for my friend and we have only watched two episodes. In the first episode the DVD started sticking and everyone turned red then green. This made my friend furious because this lasted for over 15 minutes. I was very disappointed. I hope in the future others won't have to experience this.

I am a fan of the Sopranos. I bought the set so that I can watch the series any time that I desire. I like the episode guide with the descriptions of each episode. Also, I like listing of the year of the episodes in the series and the unseen clips included with the CD set. I wish the series did not play the theme song at the beginning of each episode. I am not interested in listening to the song at the beginning of each episode. I like the video content not the repeating of the theme song. Other than, that I am satisfied with the 86 hours of video. I think this was a good buy, as this was the lowest price that I found anywhere.
The set was overall quite disappointing. There were several CD's that stopped for a number of time, ("stuck" actually), and when they started again, several seconds/minutes of the program had skipped as well. Going back before it started doing this did NOT help! The BIGGEST letdown was, after watching the entire series, and really anxious to see the BONUS FEATURES, especialy Disc 1 that has alternative endings & lost scenes, simply WOULD NOT PLAY, it won't even recognize the CD! I tried this in 2 DVD players (one new) as well as 2 computers, and NONE would recognize it or PLAY IT!! I am totally BUMMED, as I watched most of the series on tv, and was really looking forward to this! IS THERE ANY CHANCE OF GETTING A REPLACEMENT CD??? The Bonus Features Disc #2 plays OK....but it's all interviews, NOT as important as the alternative endings & lost scenes that are on Bonus CD #1!! HELP!!!Read full review
Its a great value and set, but there is a potential problem. Although the gift set is sold as a sealed item, all of the discs in the sleeves on the set I received had glue on them from the page inserts that hold each disc - right near the outer edge. Fortunately, I was able to have them professionally cleaned and although they are a little scratched, every disc is working! Think "goo-gone" fortunately, the glue was soft. Check your discs!!! Shame on HBO, but the set is from 2009 so I guess over time the glue must be moving inside the sleeves.
