    Just as good as the original Viofo brand

    Very well made and works as expected. This is the second HWC I got for a second Viofo A129 Duo and is just as good, if not better than the original Viofo branded HWC at a cheaper price. It's a shame they don't have Add-A-Fuses already connected to the BAT and ACC wires, or at least supplied them with the HWC depending on the type of fuses you have. But that being said, I highly recommend them.

    Length issue

    I purchased the product because it was cheaper than others. But the cable was 11.5" and couldn't reach properly back of my BMW 328i to get connection from fuse. So I had to cut the cable and join some extra cable. Battery drain protection didn't have options to set different voltage . Three thin cable starts from battery drain protection kit which is unsafe in my opinion.

    EASY TO CONNECT

    IT DID TAKE A WHILE TO BE DELIVERED. COMING FROM SUPPLIER IN SYDNEY I THOUGHT THAT IT WOULD ARRIVE QUICKER THAN IT DID. I THOUGHT THAT THE EARTH WIRE AND THE ADJOINING POWER WIRE COULD HAVE BEEN OF HEAVIER WIRE.I JUST FITTED IT TODAY AND IT WAS A SIMPLE JOB. FOR SOMEONE THAT HAS NOT MUCH KNOWLEDGE IN ELECTRICS( AS TO ADDING FUSES ECT.) THEN I THINK THAT IT WOULD BE EASIER IF A PAPER PLAN WAS ADDED ALONG WITH THE WIRING KIT SO THAT PEOPLE WOULD NOT MAKE A MISTAKE IN DOING THIS WORK THEMSELVES. THANK YOU.

    DVR Hardwire Unit

    These units make it easy to run your cable directly from the fuse box up through the headlining of your vehicle to the camera. As the unit already has the 12v to 5v converter you don't need the cigarette lighter plug and cable that came with your camera.Quality unit with enough length cable to reach from fuse box to top of windscreen.
