As an important note, this is a newer revision from the 2015 edition which uses mini USB cables, this instead uses MICRO USB. The connector seems a lot less stable and secure, and generally more flimsy. I'm certain the connector will be easily damaged along the line and die before the AMP/DAC itself. The shift from mini USB to micro USB is a strange choice given it's not difficult to find mini to micro USB OTG cables for android, or a straight OTG adaptor cable and with USB-C as the standard port for most new devices now the decision to switch to this is a bit confusing. While it's possible to charge and use as a dac at the same time, two cables are required, a single port for charging and DAC use would also have been ideal. Sound wise it gives a clean sound that throws nice and punchy bass and clear mids, highs are occasionally muddled but generally expressed well. Battery life is as stated, have not needed to charge it once yet, but that may be because as an AMP, it doesn't amplify the signal very much compared to some other AMPs. This isn't an issue if you're using IEMS as the amp will do more than enough and it's great value, but with higher impedance headphones it's very noticeable and you're best off sticking to a more expensive AMP/DAC. On lower impedance earphones (I tested with 16ohm RHA MA750i) the signal has a slight white noise from the 40% to 100% volume, the signal isn't barely noticeable however and hasn't bothered me very much. Construction is great, all metal body feels very sturdy and solid. The only strange thing is Toppings choice of switch positioning, turning the amp on is done by flicking the switch to the left instead of the right like most devices, this is especially difficult if your 3.5mm cable is already plugged in which sits to the right of the switch, meaning you need to pry your finger between the gap to turn it on. The volume pot is not my favourite and feels cheap in quality, but is extremely smooth and is tight enough to not move around and change the volume accidentally. If you're after entry level premium audio that isn't as expensive as some of the other options, this is a great place to start.Read full review

A nice little audio booster when you need it. Good long running rechargeable battery. Among many uses, I use it to run headphones out of the AUX out on my USB speaker box. Good value, Now I take control of blowing out my own eardrums if I want to.
