On the second day after receiving my La Traxx Quadcopter I flew it for the first time. I was amazed how easy it was to fly but I do have experience with RC helicopters. In the course of eight days I flew It Four times on four different days. On the fifth day after a few minutes in the air if you came on controllable and fell to the ground. After inspection I found that one of the front motors quit working. I didn't expect it to last forever but I did expect to be able to fly it more than four times before mowed it would burn out. After more than 10 helicopters I never had anything like that happen. It seems to be a great product but they need to put just a little bit better motors in them. I was advised that if I want something that last spend the money and get something with brushless motors.Read full review

Great way to learn how to use the controller on a very fast smaller quad so that when I do get my 1500.00 dollars camera drone I will have better control of it. This little guy really can take a beating and keep on going. Great training so when I do step up I won't be crashing and basically wasting all my money. I know when I get my mavic pro that this alias is why I am able to control my expensive drone so good, great, very durable, and fun to fly indoors or outdoors, if you looking for a great quad or drone to learn how to use the controls and not crash your expensive one this is it. Love my alias

We have a group of 12 or so guys that fly in doors once a week during the winter months when it is to cold to fly out doors. We all have Latrex Alias and have a blast racing around set up corses. We bang into poles and each other and act like little kids doing what ever it takes to take someone out and win. The Latrex Alias is very durable and keeps on going even after gears may be come damaged and blades bent to still is flyable and can win. With a .75 gear or a .50 blade it will be smooth as new again. Only problem I had was the two extra batterys I recieved with mine were garbage.

The Alias is great fun to fly even for beginners. The tricks in fast mode are easy to perform and impress almost any by-stander. But even as an advanced flyer you can get A lot of fun out of this well-build copter. It is easy to maintain and thanks to the light weight and almost indistructable quite safe to fly even for beginners. With the right FPV camera and equipment and some electronic enthusiasm you can even turn this thing into a FPV copter. I also invested in sealed bearings and stronger motors for more power. So the fun never really ends with the Alias.

So I have the Traxxas Aton and I got this Alias for practice. In sport mode this fly's rock solid and is very quick. I almost can say if this is your very first quad get something slower. Don't fool yourself this quad can preform. I have build three 330 quads and i'm glad I got this one for my collection. And yes in expert mode I did fly in 18 mph winds. Most quads in this price range will be parked in the house. Waiting for summer to do night flights
