In 2001 I began to write short stories. My aim was to capture and then convey some invative techlogical ideas which had been buzzing around in my head for several years. Once the stories were written I made additional steps to get the collection ready for publication by seeking feedback from friends and family. There were many suggestions for improvement in the style and descriptive writing and I have tried to respond to these suggestions. However my concern has been that such 'major surgery' might cover up the ideas and invations which were my main purpose in producing this work. Perhaps it is precisely the 'unpolished baldness' of these stories which allows the ideas to be received more effectively and a reduction in degree of sensory descriptions can free the reader from distractions and allow you to share my focus which is upon the ideas. As I have developed as a writer, I have come to accept the value of character development and atmospheric writing when there is space within which to do it. Therefore I have begun to produce expanded versions of some these stories in a series of ten vels, the first of which I intend to release in the early part of next year.
