Seems like good quality, but limited in its uses according to my expectations unfortunately.
I purchased this speed controller to attached to my wood lathe in order to be able to have variable speed control when wood turning. However, the unit DID NOT perform that function for me. All it did was act as an on/off switch. Therefore, I highlighted "Not Recommended" due to the fact that it did not serve my purpose. It might be OK used on routers or drills etc, but DID NOT serve the purpose intended on my lathe. Excellent range of speed
I had a 600 what evaporative cooler fan which I wanted to control in my garage workshop wall. Going flat out it was very noisy. The controller has given me my staff a wide range of options.

Variable Motor Speed Controller
The controller works on my Industrial fan and Pool Spa pump. I can now drop the motor to a lower speed. The device is well made and listed at a good price.

It does not do what it claims to do. I connected it separately to 2 1/2HP single phase motors and it made no difference to their speed.
