BE WARNED, these tyres don't stay white long!
After following the sellers instructions about removing the blue covering on the bands the whitewalls started turning brown within a few weeks. I haven't actually driven the car yet with them fitted yet, so this is really disappointing. Of course it is obvious that they know that there is an issue as it clearly states that any claims of discolouration will not be considered. Its a great pity as the tyres arrived very quickly. Of course if I had any idea that they would go brown this fast then I would not have bought that style. The worst tyre I have already painted with a paint pen and I have to say was much more discoloured that the one in the photo, I am sure that the others aren't far behind. There is a lot of info on the web about why this happens, but basically it is due to a leaching out of a product in the tyres that stop them being affected by ozone. It turns black tyres brown too. I would recommend that you just buy black tyres unless like me you are prepared to put in about 1 1\2 hours repainting each tyre ! I would love to come back to this in 6 months to see how they really fair overall.
