Lightly hammer the staples back in the holes and twist them a little with pliers to lock them in tightly. I've caught 3 mice with the 2 traps I bought so far. I wish they were crafted better, but they're cheap and will help solve a mouse problem. 3 less mice in my house. Baked chicken skin and scraps of an orange worked better than peanut butter.
