I received this game as a Christmas present, because I had heard that it was a fantastic game of soccer. And I wasn't disappointed. The game has a number of features, such as Edit mode, where you can edit players, teams and stadiums. Franchise mode, where you start as a team in the lower divisions and try to win the Division 1 club cup, and the game also sports an excessively deep training mode. You can either choose free training or challenge training from the menu. Free training is basic training that will help you play better, and challenge training is training where you can earn points. You can use these points to buy fun stuff in the Winning Eleven Shop, located in the options menu. Some of the things you can buy are: classic teams, special effects, a new difficulty level, and other things. Considering the time when you're actually playing the game, it plays almost flawlessly. It is the most realistic soccer I have ever seen when compared to an actual pro soccer match. The controls are well laid out, but it order to master them, you will have to play quite a bit. Also, training mode will help you with new controls you can use. It is very hard to control shooting the ball. It gets easier as you go along, but it can still be a nuisance even after playing the game for a long time. When ever you play a game, afterwards you should receive some points where you can buy things in the shop. Overall, this game is a fantastic and addicting game of soccer. It is definantly worth your money, especially over any FIFA game. Hope you have fun. Pros - Controls are well laid out, with flawless and flowing gameplay. - Many features to use and help you out. - Goals do not repeat/You'll never see the same goal twice Cons - No online play - Missing many national and club teams Hoped this helped you all out.Read full review
This is the best futbol game I've ever played but with a few nuissances that are just a huge pain in the ass. The game has really good gameplay and a consistent flowing without interruptions or "breaks" in the game like some games do with a weaker engine. This game has alot of modes to play in and I do mean ALOT. You have 2 types of leagues, a Cup, exhibition match and then the training mode. The training mode is extremely boring at the start if you're knowledgable about futbol but if you're new to futbol then it is VERY informative. The training modes do take forever to get through though , you can't skip through the "simple" parts as quickly as you hope but I'm also an impatient person. Even though they take along time to get through they are very indepth and are very helpful. They have alot of great things like a point system that allows you to purchase different uniforms and unlock different teams. They have an indepth game mode where you choose your players, can buy them from free agents, see who has the best talent and also can exchange players from team to team like the real futbol world does. It is VERY extensive in that mode and can take you nearly an hour or more just in trying to setup a couple of people to trade or buy without knowing. That is a REALLY good mode to have though as it's rare to have something so extensive in a sports game. Now the bad things about this game that just irritate the crap out of me and I'm wanting to throw the game up against the wall to break it. The automatic player selector the game has can get incredibly annoying, especially when you're in front of the goal. It's like the game isn't as smart as you are in choosing which player is best to go after the ball from the attacker. Sometimes they'll choose a defender that's alot farther away (but somewhat has a better angle) from the ball and the attacker gets pretty far before you actually reach him. Also the automatic player selector sometimes "lags" and takes a little longer than you'd like to choose your players. Also if you have a good shot on goal that the keeper deflects, instead of the game automatically choosing the player that the ball will be going too it doesn't select them at all and you've lost your chance to make a rebound shot. They just stand there and by the time you select the player yourself the defender has already got the ball and is about to clear it out if he's not already done so. That gets EXTREMELY irritating after awhile as it costs you a goal most of the time and will piss you off alot when it does it constantly. The moves or skills the players have aren't that many. You have the ability to do around 2 moves or more which the computer will always stop. The shooting accuracy isn't all that excellent as sometimes it doesn't kick it where you tell it to go. For example, if your body is turned sideways facing the goal and you want to do a far post, low shot it shoots it completely off base and nowhere near the corner you chose it too. When you try to do a near post, mid-high shot with a decent amount of power it kicks it around 2-3 yrds away from the goal post, it's annoying. Also, sometimes when you try a low hard shot, it still raises the ball up very high for the most powerful shot. Even those 3 faults (seems like more faults) irritate the living crap out of me and make me despise the game I still love it and think it's the best futbol game there is. The gameplay is world class and is overall enjoyable.Read full review
