Can actually find it cheaper
After I bought this, I found it for $5 cheaper elsewhere. Oh well. BUT bottom line this case is great, just like Protection Racket but with the extra space for the snare throw off. Great idea. Now if they make a version with space for a spare head (that can be zipped open and closed), that would be perfect.

Cheap insurance
I know that a rigid case would probably be more protective, but this AHEAD case swaddles my DW Performance Series 14X8 steel snare like an infant at the NICU....AND FOR LESS MONEY. I'll likely buy more for the rest of my kit at some point. The foam padding and soft interior really feel good and the quality of stitching and the zipper seem very good. Time will tell but so far, I like it.
