Enhance Your Creativity
This is perhaps the best Speedlight that Canon has put out. Yes it does not have many of the features that the current models have, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I use these as an off camera flash being triggered optically with a main master unit. I mostly use a group of these in a photo-shoot and have mostly been satisfied. I can't have enough of them. The more of these you have, the more you can do. Canon has a very reliable robust wireless lighting system that pays to learn, understand and USE. So if you intend on staying with Canon, go out and get a few of these and learn how to use them. It will only enhance your creativity.Verified purchase: Yes

Slightly hobbled but otherwise very functionl
I missed all the "as is" details in the sale info and missed the broken foot thing and wondered what was the reason for such a blowout price on this magnificent beast. I was delivered fast and alas I found the reason, the mounting foot is broken. One side is gone. However, I really wanted this powerhouse to use as a slave to my other 4 flash units so with a little improvisation and good glue I can mount it on a stand with a screw mount giving me the option of stand mount when needed. I purchased this flash to extend my lighting to two flashes. These units are very inexpensive and perform nearly as well as the latest models.
