The Cardinal Classic Games Memory Match is a brand new sealed board game that challenges players to test their memory skills. With a vintage design from 2007, this game is perfect for children as young as 4 and can be played by up to 2 players. The game's strategy theme makes it engaging for players of all ages, while the durable tin container ensures that the game will be preserved for years to come. This game is ideal for both boys and girls who enjoy a fun and educational challenge.
Looks expensive but sadly lacking in content. The box is definitely the best part.
The box looks sturdy and interesting. However when opened it contained a small, thin, folded cardboard play-board and a few flimsy plastic counters.
The board was bent and the counters kept slipping off. It is nothing like the solid, old fashioned “snakes and ladders” I played with years ago. Sad really.
The tin box will definitely last longer than the contents.
I made the decision to get this game in a tin over the regular (old fashioned) boxed game. This is designed for youngsters with a more cute appeal as opposed to the regular game that is also for young ones but has more realistic look of snakes then this one. My grandson, 4 years, loves this game since I brought it to him and likes the idea that he can get eaten up by a snake (as we put it) and end up at the tail. The tin that the game comes in is not real thick but substantial enough that it should last a while but the board ,which folds into four sections, feels flimsy to me and is hard to get to lay flat. Hopefully that will flatten more easily over time. My bottom line is that I was excited to get the game that I remember from my childhood but if I were to chose again I think I would have ordered the regular boxed game. It is fun to play, preferred over the chutes and ladders and my grandson will still get a lot of enjoyment from it.
