Good price for the phone, got to me asap, immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.
This is my fifth of these over the past few years, my favorite phone ever.Smaller then other phones, camera is good. Fits anywhere. Will keep buying it.
I didn't realise this was just a dummy phone. Completely useless. Why would anyone want something that is not a working telephone ?
This mobile is a fab tiny phone. Brill if you want a little one to fit in your pocket/bag for work. Pros. Small, light weight, good quality camera, MP3 player, easy to use menus and keeps locked when closed (best key locking method on any mobile I've had to date) - no accidental phone calls. Has 1gb internal and upto 2gb additional card. Cons. Can't get time or number calling display on screen when closed, it always displays the MP3 player. Java games don't work when someone has bluetoothed them you or you've put them on a card. Overall. The phone seems to act like an MP3 player first then a mobile. But still a fab mobile if you like music on the go or just want a small mobile.
I have had the phone for 18 months and for me that is a total record. After having mobiles for 12 years this is by far the best. I get so many comments from people and to be fair I only bought it as it was on a girls aloud video and looked cool. The small flaws it has can be overlooked - mp3 player always on and unless you want to type a password in everytime theres no way of getting rid of it. Also I never understand why samsung dont allow message alerts so you only get the standard choice of theirs built into the phone. It is easily scratched but thats only a small complaint for the quality of the phone. I have been looking to buy another but they are twice the price now they are discontinued than they were when I first purchased it.
I bought the Samsung F210 because its small and has all i need: camera 2M pixels, bluetooth, good screen, several alarms, the little emoticons you can insert in sms, the repeat mess tones when u get a mess so u can't miss it even if u haven't heard it the first time, front text is of good size not like on E590. For the volume issue, i personnaly think that its not that bad as many people say, providing you select the highest level 7. The only downside is the mess alert tone that you can't customize. That is a pain as there is only 4 available classic ones. I still don't get why samsung do that with their phones. Are they too scared to be perfect? Oh and if like many people ur pissed bec of the MP3 player showing when u close the phone this is the solution: go in setting, security, privacy, my files, and put a secret code of ur choice. The screen will ask u for the secret code to go back on mp3 player mode. Enjoy!Read full review
I guess every people would like to have something special, exclusive to highlight they own individuality. The Samsung SGH-F210 as well as his other brothers (F200, F200, and CDMA version Juke aka SCH-U470) have been created exactly in order to achieve this aim. It's a very nice thing that looker around people like a magnet. As you know it combines player and phone, and likely any other universal tools the combinations brings us as pros and cons. It's useful have bring one device instead of two, use the same headset with no needs to stop music manually when incoming call arrives, etc.. but it's to thick, havy and have worse playback time as for regular mp3 player (e.g. transcend, ipod) coz additional thickness, weight and power required for keyboard and phone mainboard. As for phone it have too small keyboard and display, moreover if you are intended to use it as player actively it definitely can't provide good stand-by time. But in spite of all this facts it looks so nice that it's really easy to forgive all this minor flaws once you take it in hand. PS The model design is rather women-aimed that man-oriented but black one looks enough unisex.Read full review
the phone is small, sleek and classy. The buttons are very small so it is really only suitable for a woman. the mp3 player continues to run even when you close the phone. you dont hear the music but it just drinks your battery. the battery life is not bad i think it lasts quite a while. the screen is very small. you cannot really view your pictures on the phone but from what i hear, they are very good quality once downloaded onto the computer (i dont have the leads to do it) overall i think it is a good phone, easy to use as long as its not your first phone, good battery life, scuffs easy although is cosmetically nice id give it a 7/10
Really small and cute looking, a major annoyance which i found with the phone is when you shut the phone there is always an mp3 screen which you can't get rid of and this means you have to open the phone to see the time and any missed calls. The buttons are small and close together which could be a problem for people with long nails or bigger fingers. I personally like taking and collecting photos on my mobile but with this one i find its hard to hold the phone without covering the camera as it is quite low down on the back of the phone, also as the screen is very small your pictures are too and they're hard to see until you put them on your computer. Overall the phone is lovely to look at but has a few practicality flaws.
The Samsung SGH-F210 mobile phone is a great little phone and easy to use. With its quick flick-open action and options to listen to music. Its size accommodates both pocket and handbag making it the great unisex mobile, (accept when it comes in pink). It does however, have some irritations, one of which is how easily it scratches. After only having it for a few days the scratches began to appear. Perhaps Samsung should have reproduced the rubber backing in the same vain as its predecessor the Samsung D900 (great phone). Another point to raise is the constant screen image of the MP3 player set when the phone is closed, you have to open the phone to check calls and texts. Thats a pain if you have been away from the mobile for a while, you wouldn't know if someone had contacted you unless you open the phone. No doubt someone will put me right not only on that but on the issue that I couldn't find the menu for speaker phone, which I use a lot on my other mobile. It has to be said how disappointing the options are for skins and settings, they are very limited when it comes to choices in phone, display and sound setting. Its a very, very limited choice I'm afraid. Its also a pain to have to change the earphone connection when the traditional earphone connection would suffice, why the complication? You are bound to lose a piece. To conclude, it depends on what your preferences are when it comes to phones and the order of importance, eg phone, camera and/or MP3 player. This phone appears to limit the extras of a phone for that of the MP3 player. That said I do like it and its tiny design.Read full review
