All Canon EOS Rebels get my thumbs-up rating! This one, the Digital T3 is a little more complicated to use. I bought it used, without manual, so I'm having to wing it. Overall, great picture quality, added to a photo editing software program like PhotoShop, and together they make photos AWESOME! Built-in flash great, and I rarely used an external flash in general shooting. Love the Canon EOS Rebel family of cameras and lenses! Value, value, value and excellent for non-professional and semi-professional photographers.

I knew that a manual was not included,, but it would have been nice. Still I'm having fun figuring it out. Battery was charged so I didn't have to wait for that to charge. Now that I've had a chance to use it. I noticed that there is a dead bug in the camera that I haven't been able to get out yet. I also find that the manual focus doesn't work but the auto focus does so not really a problem. Just wish that people would be honest in there description were more accurate and they tell the truth. I might not have bought this camera if they had said that there was a dead bug stuck inside the main body of the camera, and that the manual focus doesn't work. Don't like that people can tell the truth when they sell an item on eBay. With tath in mind. I still happy with my camera and hope that I can get the dead bug out of it.Read full review

Awesome Product, as anybody with a Canon EOS Rebel T3 knows. Great range of capabilities, very crisp, quick, amazing for taking action shots, casual photos of the family, portraits, or still life photos, with additional lenses can take macro, wide angle...etc.. for a great price. Has been recommended by consumer reports as one of the top 10 cameras within the last year. (However in that time the T3i has become superior in ease of use and for those who love technology, it is a step above in my opinion). The only glitch with the Canon EOS Rebel is the san disk still wants to only partially complete its cycle when downloading and renders the photos on the disk unreadable. Make sure you back up your disk on the computer. You risk losing them otherwise. Verdict: awesome camera, great for the money. downloadable SD feature, still a little behind the times. Strong suggestion: If you have the money to upgrade to T3i, consider that seriously, and you will be happier. But if you are on a budget like myself and don't need the bells and whistles..... this is a super solid camera and will capture seriously professional quality photos. Don't try to pry it out of my hands.Read full review
A great camera that will give you quality images the first time you use it. You can pretty much forget blurry images as the image stabilization should make every shot sharp and clear. There are settings for almost anything you want to do and if you can't be bothered, just leave it on the auto focus setting. Low light ? - flash will pop up automatically or you can shut the flash off if not desired. It also has a hot shoe if you wish to purchase an external flash. 12.2 megapixels gives excellent resolution to all images. The 1080 video produces clear HD video. The camera will take EF and EFS lenses of which there is a large selection to choose from as well as various 58mm filters. The T3 comes with everything you'll need including 3 software disks - you won't be disappointed!
This is my first dSLR camera. Always wanted to take some controlled pictures rather than depending on luck (for point n' shooters) always. I bought this one totally relying on reviews from ebay, amazon & some other websites. So far so good, the camera is serving me way better than any of my PnS cams did. For some experience of what I did with Rebel T3 you could try flickr.com/photos/kiching where I've uploaded some photos. The camera has some wonderful features, such as Digic 4 CMOS sensor, a nice 12.2 Megapixel image resolution. 9 focus points. Most of all I says what it does & does what it said for the price. With EF & EFS lenses avaiable you do have a lot of choices for lenses. Pros: 1. Cheap price, worthy features. 2. Grips well. 3. Awesome picture quality. 4. Long battery life (Avg 600-700 RAW) 5. Lot of lens options. 6. 3 Exposure Bracketing. 7. HD Video (720p) capable. Cons: 1. Image resolution could be higher. 2. Plastic body(well this is where Canon saved me a lotta money tho) 3. No wireless capability (Flash or photo shoot) 4. No external Mic capable.Read full review
